Maggie Maggio is the Culinary Dietitian at Land O’Lakes where she works primarily on the K-12 and College and University channels. Maggie is passionate about food in all settings and believes that delicious and nutritious high-quality food should be available to all. Prior to joining Land O’Lakes, Maggie served as the Director of Foodservice at a K-12 district in Minnesota, where she took the program back to self-operation after several years under a contract management company. In this role she also championed farm to school, scratch cooking, and student involvement in the nutrition program, all while maintaining fiscal responsibility. Foodservice is Maggie’s second career. In her previous life she worked in sales for a book publisher in New York City. In her free time Maggie enjoys hiking, gardening, and sewing, and is obsessed with her dog.
