Chef Chris Olson is an ACF Certified Executive Chef® and has over 20 years of experience in foodservice, five of which were managing college & university foodservice operations. He has been awarded a bronze medal in the NACUFS Culinary Challenge twice. He strives to create great experiences in foodservice operations whether it be in a restaurant setting or in the college dining hall. Chef Chris has been with Land O’Lakes since 2020.

My biggest passion is helping operators find the right solution for their needs.
What is a piece of advice or insight you want to share with operators?
It's important that operators stay connected with their customers to keep up with dining trends and dietary preferences. Customers like to know that an operator is listening to their needs and creating flavorful dishes to reflect those concerns.
What is your favorite Land O Lakes® product and why?
Even though it’s a relatively new product, Extra Melt® Monterey Jack Cheese Sauce is a favorite. It’s got a great cheese flavor, so it stands on its own; but when you use it as a base for your dairy sauce recipes, it handles almost anything you can throw at it.
