Preparation
STEP 1
Combine all ingredients in a large heavy saucepan.
STEP 2
Heat on low heat, stirring occasionally, and continue to simmer for 15 to 20 minutes to allow flavors to develop.
CCP: Heat to 165°F for at least 15 seconds
STEP 3
Serve in 3 ounce portions as a dipping sauce for vegetables, grain products or meat.
CCP: Heat to 165°F for at least 15 seconds
CCP: Maintain hot food at 135°F or above
