Spicy Egg and Cheese Sliders

Spicy Egg and Cheese Sliders recipe

Ingredients

  • 24 (1.5-ounce each) | Frozen precooked square egg patties, thawed, unfolded
  • 96 slices (about 3 cups) | Canned jalapeño peppers, drained

Preparation

STEP 1

Spray two full hotel pans with release spray or line with parchment paper.

STEP 2

Place bottom halves of buns in prepared pans (24 per pan). Top each with 1 Cracker Cut.

STEP 3

Unfold egg squares and lay over 2 bottom buns. Continue covering 2 bottom buns with egg rectangles until all are covered. You will use 12 egg rectangles per hotel pan.

STEP 4

Top each egg half with 1 Cracker Cut and 2 slices jalapeño. Cover with top halves of buns.

STEP 5

Cover with parchment paper and tightly seal pans with foil.

STEP 6

Bake sandwiches at 350°F until cheese is melted and sandwich is heated to 165°F for 15 seconds.

CCP: Heat to 165°F for at least 15 seconds
CCP: Maintain hot food at 140°F or above

STEP 7

Cut into individual sandwiches for easier service, plating 2 sandwiches per serving.
