Mushroom Garlic Alfredo Pizza recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 | Portobello mushrooms, trimmed, thinly sliced
  • 1 head | Garlic, cloves separated and peeled
  • 1 tablespoon | Vegetable oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon | Salt
  • 1 (12-inch) | Pizza crust

Preparation

STEP 1

Toss mushrooms and garlic in 1 tablespoon vegetable oil and salt. Roast in 375°F oven 10-15 minutes.

STEP 2

Spread pizza crust with Alfredo Sauce; cover with Extra Melt® Shredded American Cheese.

STEP 3

Bake in 375°F oven 8-12 minutes or until cheese starts to brown around edge.

STEP 4

Cook egg in small amount of vegetable oil until white is fully cooked. Gently place egg onto center of pizza; drizzle with truffle oil.

STEP 5

​Cut into 8 slices to serve.

FDA guidelines for safe handling instructions recommend cooking eggs until white and yolk are firm.

Tip #2

You can use 8 ounces sliced baby bello mushrooms instead of the two larger mushrooms. Prep and roast as directed in recipe.
