Meatless Bento with Mild Cheddar Cracker Cuts

Child Nutrition: 2 meat/meat alternate, 2 oz. eq. grain, 1/4 cup vegetable (other), 1/2 cup vegetable (dark green), 1 cup fruit | HACCP Process III.

Meatless Bento recipe

Ingredients

  • 50 each | Pears, whole
  • 25 cups (78 ounces) | Broccoli florets
  • 12 1/2 cups (50 ounces) | Radishes, sliced

Preparation

STEP 1

Lay out desired containers for packing bento ingredients.

STEP 2

To separate compartments of each bento, add:

8 Mild Cheddar Cracker Cuts (2 ounces)
2 ounces whole grain crackers
1/2 cup grapes
1 pear
1/2 cup broccoli florets
1/4 cup sliced radishes

STEP 3

Cover bento. Refrigerate until service.

CCP: Maintain cold food at 41°F or below
