Cubano Burger

Yield: 50 Burgers | Serving Size: 1 Burger
Child Nutrition: 3 meat/meat alternate, 2 oz. eq. grain | HACCP Process III.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup | Mustard
  • 1 cup | Light mayonnaise
  • 50 (2-ounce) each | Whole wheat hamburger buns
  • 50 (2-ounce) patties | Beef patty, fully cooked, heat to 165°F for at least 15 seconds

Preparation

STEP 1

Whisk together mustard and mayonnaise in medium bowl; set aside. 

CCP: Maintain cold food at 41°F or below

STEP 2

Layer bottom bun halves with beef patty, ham slice and cheese slice.

STEP 3

Lightly spread cut side of top bun halves with mustard-mayonnaise mixture. Place on burger. Serve immediately. 

CCP: Maintain hot food at 135°F or above

STEP 4

Serve with dill pickle slices as optional topping.
