Cold Pimento Cheese Sandwich recipe

Ingredients

  • Pimento Cheese Spread Ingredients
  • 6 pounds (6 quarts) | Land O Lakes® Shredded Mild Cheddar
  • 1/2 pouch (53 ounces) | Land O Lakes® Ultimate Yellow™ Cheese Sauce
  • 48 ounces (6 cups) | Canned diced pimientos, drained
  • 1 to 2 teaspoons | Hot pepper sauce
  • 1 teaspoon | Onion powder

  • 96 slices | Whole grain bread

Preparation

STEP 1

Place all Pimento Cheese Spread ingredients into large bowl or Hobart mixer. Stir by hand or mix with Hobart paddle until just combined.

STEP 2

Hold cold until ready to make sandwiches.

CCP: Maintain cold food at 41°F or below

STEP 3

To build sandwich, portion one #12 scoop cheese spread on one slice bread; top with another slice bread.

STEP 4

Serve immediately or wrap sandwiches individually in plastic food wrap; hold cold for grab-and-go.
