Chef-Inspired Mushroom Umami Sauce recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 pound 4 ounces | Baby bella mushrooms, trimmed, quartered
  • 1/4 cup | Olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon | Salt

Preparation

STEP 1

Combine mushrooms, oil, salt and pepper in medium bowl; toss to coat. Roast in 400°F oven 30 minutes or until browned and cooked through.

STEP 2

Combine roasted mushrooms and Extra Melt Monterey Jack Cheese Sauce in large saucepan; puree with immersion blender until smooth.

STEP 3

Heat cheese sauce over medium-low heat, stirring frequently. Hold hot until service.

STEP 4

If serving for take-out, place sauce in heat-safe to-go container.
