  • 25 pounds (about 5 bags) | Reduced-sodium tater tots
  • 1 (5-pound) pouch | Land O Lakes® Reduced Fat Mild Cheddar Cheese Cubes



Prepare tater tots according to manufacturer's instruction.


Portion about 16 tater tots into desired serving container.


Place 1 ounce Mild Cheddar Cheese Cubes over tots; cover.


Hold warm for service. (Cheese will melt while warming until to make cheesy tots.) Or refrigerate immediately and send home with re-heat instructions for oven or microwave depending on container used.

Recipe Tips

Tip #1

Add 1/2 cup bell pepper and onion blend and scrambled eggs to make this a 1.5 cup vegetable and 2 MMA brunch-for-lunch option. Note that this will affect nutrition.

Tip #2

If holding warm, the recipe is best consumed within 30-60 minutes. The longer the hold, the softer the tots will be. Reheating covered (350°F oven, 10 minutes) results in softer tots. Reheating vented (microwave, 30-45 seconds) results in crisper tots if tots were crisped to begin with.
