Cheesy Meatball Sub

Ingredients

  • 75 (.5 ounce) each (2 pounds 6 ounces) | Turkey meatballs
  • 3 1/8 cups (28 1/2 ounces) | Low-sodium marinara sauce

Preparation

STEP 1

Heat meatballs in marinara sauce until temperature reaches 165°F.

CCP: Heat to 165°F for at least 15 seconds

STEP 2

Place 2 slices cheese in each bun.

STEP 3

Place 3 meatballs in each bun, distributing sauce evenly among all subs; approximately 1 tablespoon extra sauce per sub.

STEP 4

Heat in conventional oven at 375°F for 5 minutes to melt cheese.

STEP 5

Wrap in foil and hold warm until service.

CCP: Maintain hot food at 135°F or above
