Cheesy Hash Brown Bowl

Ingredients

  • 36 ounces | Land O Lakes® Ultimate White Cheese Sauce Blend
  • 1 1/2 cups | Skim milk
  • 3 pounds | Frozen roasted pepper and onion strips, thawed, drained, coarsely chopped
  • 12 ounces | Turkey sausage crumbles or Italian turkey sausage crumbles, cooked
  • 7 1/2 pounds | Frozen cubed hashbrowns, preheated and lightly browned
  • Optional | Light sour cream
  • Optional | Cilantro, chopped

Preparation

STEP 1

In large sauce pan combine Ultimate White Cheese Sauce, milk, vegetables and sausage. Heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally until mixture reaches 165ºF. 

CCP: Heat to 165°F for at least 15 seconds

STEP 2

To assemble bowl place 4 ounces hot hash browns in paper food boat or bowl, top with 4 ounces cheese sauce mixture. Garnish with sour cream and cilantro, if desired.
 

CCP: Maintain hot food at 135°F or above
