Carolina BBQ Sliders with Extra Melt Cheese Sauce recipe

Ingredients

  • Carolina BBQ Cheese Sauce
  • 1 (5-pound) pouch | Land O Lakes® Extra Melt® White Cheese Sauce
  • 2/3 cup | Cider vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons | Dry mustard
  • 3 tablespoons | Yellow mustard seeds
  • 2 tablespoons | Hot sauce
  • 2 tablespoons | Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons | Chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon | Cayenne
  •  
  • Sandwich
  • 5 pounds | Pulled pork or chicken, hot
  •  
  • 80 each | Slider buns or small dinner rolls, split
  • 8 cups | Bread and butter pickle chips, drained

Preparation

STEP 1

Heat Extra Melt Cheese Sauce in large saucpean over medium-low heat, stirring occasionally; mix in all remaining sauce ingredients. Hold warm for service.

STEP 2

To build sandwich, place 1 or 2 pickle chips on bottom half of bun; top with about 1 ounce (about 1/4 cup) meat, 1 ounce cheese sauce and top half of bun.

STEP 3

If serving for take-out, place sliders in take-out container.
