Beef and Blue Hoagie with Extra Melt Cheese Sauce

Yield: 10 sandwiches | Serving Size: 1 sandwich

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 pounds | Sliced roast beef or pulled pot roast
  • 1 1/4 pounds | Mushrooms, sliced, sautéed
  • 1 pound | Caramelized onions

Preparation

STEP 1

Heat Extra Melt Cheese Sauce according to package directions.

STEP 2

Combine warm cheese sauce, blue cheese crumbles and hot water in medium stockpot. Heat to 165°F, stirring occasionally. (Some of the blue cheese will not fully melt.) Hold warm until service.

STEP 3

To build hoagie, place 4 ounces meat into opened bun. Top with 2 ounces mushrooms and 1 1/2 ounces onions.  Drizzle with 2 ounces warm blue cheese sauce.

STEP 4

Serve sandwich warm.
