Jack And The Bean Dip

Yield: 4 1/2 cups | Serving Size: 3 ounces

Ingredients

  • 2 (19-ounce) cans | Cannellini beans, rinsed, drained
  • 2 cups | Reduced-sodium chicken stock
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons | Fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon | Italian seasoning

Preparation

STEP 1

Heat Ultimate White Cheese Sauce according to directions listed on pouch.  Keep warm.

CCP: Maintain hot food at 135°F or above

STEP 2

In heavy saucepan, sauté onion, garlic and carrots until softened.

STEP 3

Add beans and chicken broth to saucepan.  Simmer for 30 minutes or until beans are soft.

STEP 4

Transfer ingredients to food processor, add lemon juice and pulse mixture in food processor until fairly smooth.

STEP 5

Add heated Ultimate White Cheese Sauce and Italian seasoning; pulse to combine.

STEP 6

Return bean sauce mixture to saucepan and heat through to 165°F for 15 seconds.

CCP: Maintain hot food at 135°F or above
