Chicken Wild Rice Salad

Ingredients

  • Dressing Ingredients
  • 6 ounces | Land O Lakes® Cream Sauce Base
  • 5 tablespoons | Dijon mustard
  • 2 1/2 tablespoons | Honey
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons | White vinegar
  • 3/4 teaspoon | Kosher salt

  • Salad Ingredients
  • 4 cups | Cooked wild rice
  • 3 cups | Cooked chicken or turkey, chopped
  • 2 cups | Dried cranberries
  • 1 cup | Sliced almonds, toasted
  • 1 cup | Green onions, thin bias cut

Preparation

STEP 1

Heat Cream Sauce Base to 165°F for 15 seconds using one of the methods provided on the back of package.  Cool the product to less than 41°F.

STEP 2

Whisk together all dressing ingredients.  Fold in remaining ingredients; stir to coat.

STEP 3

Refrigerate 4 hours to blend flavors.
