Cheesy Cowboy Meatball Hoagie with Ultimate White Cheese Sauce Blend

Ingredients

  • 10 pounds | Ground beef, 90/10
  • 6 cups (53 ounces) | Land O Lakes® Ultimate White Cheese Sauce
  • 4 cups (16 ounces) | Brown rice (Minute type), dry
  • 2 cups (8 ounces) | Onion, minced
  • 1 cup (6 ounces) | Red bell pepper, minced
  • 2 teaspoons | Oregano
  • 4 teaspoons | Onion powder
  • 2 teaspoons | White pepper
  • 30 ounces | Chili beans, undrained
  • 30 ounces | Low-sodium diced tomatoes, undrained
  •  
  • Cheesy BBQ Sauce
  • 6 cups (53 ounces) | Land O Lakes® Ultimate White Cheese Sauce
  • 1/3 cup | Low-sodium BBQ sauce
  • 1 teaspoon | Sriracha sauce
  •  
  • 54 each | Whole grain hoagie rolls
  • Optional garnish | Green onion, sliced
  • Optional garnish | Sriracha sauce

Preparation

STEP 1

Combine all meatball ingredients in a large mixing bowl.

STEP 2

Using a #30 scoop, portion meatballs onto parchment lined baking sheet.

STEP 3

Bake at 350°F for 15 to 25 minutes until meatballs reach 165°F for at least 15 seconds.

STEP 4

Meanwhile, make cheesy BBQ sauce.  Combine cheese sauce, barbecue sauce and hot sauce in half steam table pan.

STEP 5

Cover and heat until sauce reaches 165°F for at least 15 seconds.  Hold warm.

STEP 6

To serve, place 4 meatballs onto hoagie roll and top with 1-ounce cheesy BBQ sauce.  Top with green onions and Sriracha drizzle, if desired.
