Broccolini Cheese Soup with Golden Velvet Cheese Sauce and Bacon

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces | Bacon, coarsely chopped
  • 8 ounces | Onion, coarsely chopped
  • 16 ounces | Broccolini, stems cut into 1/2-inch pieces, florets whole, cooked

Preparation

STEP 1

Cook bacon until crisp.  Add onions and broccolini stems, cook until softened.

STEP 2

Stir in Golden Velvet Cheese Sauce and chicken broth.  Cook over low heat, stirring until cheese is melted and smooth.

STEP 3

Heat to 165°F. Season with pepper, if desired.
